Damian woke up from his coma after a long while and this is already causing a problem between Raquel and Santiago.
The pain of Damian and Carolina's betrayal brought Santiago and Raquel together and the two have been in a relationship ever since they found out that their spouses cheated on them. With Carolina's death and Damian in a coma, there was no real threat to their unusual relationship
However, after Damian woke up from the coma, Raquel has had to spend more time taking care of him and Santiago does not like it. He therefore gave Raquel an ultimatum and asked her to choose between him and Damian. Raquel tried to make him understand that she couldn't leave Damian alone for the sake of her children but Santiago said that he was not willing to share her. Santiago therefore ended their relationship even though he claims to still love Raquel.
