On Sunday, October 6th, 2024, from 10 AM to 6 PM, Waterfront Karen will be celebrating Dogtober Fest's 10th anniversary, a fantastic event celebrating pet dogs and their owners.
The event will feature a variety of activities designed for the whole family. The highlight will be the competitions, including large and small breed races, the master dog lookalike contest, and obedience competitions. There's something for every dog to showcase their talents. Owners of Kenyan Shepherd Dogs can also compete in the Best in Breed Kenyan Shepherd Dog category. Dress your pets in their best attire for a chance to win Best Pet Costume, and honor the oldest dogs in the Most Senior Dog category.
In addition, there will be a pageantry challenge for dogs. The event will include the crowning of Mr. and Ms. Dogtoberfest, where your pets can strut their stuff and charm the crowd!
Other activities including swimming, games, arts and crafts, and a wide variety of vendors selling many great things will be available for parents, kids and their dogs too!
Tickets are available in advance for Ksh. 300 for kids and Ksh. 800 for adults, while gate prices are Ksh. 500 for kids and Ksh. 1,000 for adults so for those with dogs, take them to take part.
