Dela Maranga is a singer/songwriter with a unique edgy sound, with a soulful mix of Afro, Neo-Soul, Reggae, and Hiphop. Imagine this? She began performing on stage at the tender age of 7 years old! This is why June Gachui is excited to bring back Bare Sessions Season 2, featuring Dela as the first artist in Edition 1. Her music will be reinterpreted by Ciano Maimba and Freddie "Dillie" Wang'ombe.
Since launching her solo career in 2009, Dela has captivated audiences with her powerful and soulful voice. Her debut album, Paukwa, is still celebrated for its moving vocals and catchy beats.
The intimate musical showcase will take place on Saturday, February 8th, at the National Museum of Kenya's Amphitheatre. The event begins at 8 PM, but guests with tickets can enjoy cocktails and snacks starting at 7 PM until the show starts.
