Teaching kids assertiveness is crucial for their development as it empowers them to express their thoughts and needs confidently while respecting others. Assertiveness helps children build self-esteem, improve communication skills, and establish healthy boundaries.
According to a study by the American Psychological Association, children who are taught assertiveness are 20% more likely to resist peer pressure and 15% more likely to report higher levels of self-confidence compared to their non-assertive peers.
These skills are essential for navigating social interactions, reducing the likelihood of being bullied, and promoting overall mental well-being.

Event organizers Joy-Village are hosting their monthly baraza on teen assertiveness at Parklands Sports Club on Saturday 7th September from 8:30am -1:30pm.

The session will be open to teens age 13-18 and will be facilitated by experts. Snacks and lots of exciting activities will be offered by the hosts.

The package will cost Ksh 2500 per teen. For inquiries call 0722803155
