Beneath the Baobabs Festival, an annual celebration set against the backdrop of Kilifi's baobab forest from December 30th to January 1st is a fusion of music, art, and culture. Now in its 10th year, Beneath the Baobabs has become one of the most anticipated end-year festivals in Kenya.
At the heart of the festival is a stellar lineup carefully curated to transcend borders and unite music enthusiasts. For the 2024 edition, a star-studded cast of over 60 artists and DJs will grace the stages in two spectacular parts. Among the luminaries set to illuminate the festival are BOOHLE, CULOE DE SONG, THANDI DRAAI, and FABIAN KROOSS, promising a celebration of Kenyan music, art, and culture in honor of the festival's 10-year anniversary.

In addition to the musical extravaganza, this year's Beneath the Baobabs Festival embraces alternative culture, fostering a safe and inclusive space for diverse groups to connect and celebrate contemporary East African culture. The introduction of a cashless system ensures seamless transactions at all bars, enhancing the overall festival experience.
As a trailblazer in sustainability, the festival proudly stands as the first "Carbon Neutral Festival in Africa," banning single-use plastics and offsetting emissions through a partnership with Wildlife Works. Festival-goers are encouraged to join this movement for a sustainable future by offsetting their own emissions using Wildlife Works Carbon Footprint Calculator.
