The National Museums of Kenya YouTube channel has uploaded some really cool, educational animated videos for their Utamaduni (culture) Series. The series celebrates Kenya's history by honouring heroes and heroines from all the 44 Kenyan communities.

These historic and inspiring stories will remind you of why you should be proud and appreciative of your culture and of the influences and contribution from other cultures because that is what makes us all Kenyan.
I find it baffling that most of these culturally rich, historical accounts are missing from kids' textbooks. Your children will appreciate these short but very informative animated videos on our heritage.
They'll get to learn about the great women architects of Gabbra, Nairobi's etymology, the mystical sculptors of Makonde and other cool stuff.
