Borderlands is a sci-fic action-comedy film based on the popular video game series. The movie stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Edgar Ramírez, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanu, Gina Gershon, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
The plot follows Lilith (Blanchett), a notorious bounty hunter, as she returns to Pandora, the galaxy's most chaotic planet, to find the missing daughter of Atlas (Ramírez), a powerful villain.
She teams up with a group of misfits—Roland (Hart), a mercenary; Tiny Tina (Greenblatt), a demolition expert; Krieg (Munteanu), Tina's protector; Tannis (Curtis), an eccentric scientist; and Claptrap (Black), a sarcastic robot.
Together, they must fight alien creatures and bandits to uncover a secret that could change the universe.
Critics seem to prefer the video game over the movie and the reviews aren't too great but if you like the idea of screenplay adaptations of popular games, this might be for you.
