The World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) has organized a day of ocean exploration fun for children aged 6 to 9, at Under The Sea, Village Market on December 7th, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm!
You may be wondering what ocean exploration means. Well, Nairobi isn't located on the coastline, so you don't have to worry about WWF throwing your kids into deep waters. Instead, the children will explore ocean knowledge with the help of WWF-Kenya, as they teach them about marine life; sea creatures, their habitats, and why those habitats exist.
Before the workshop, there will be registration and games where kids will have the chance to create new bonds and enjoy games and activities inspired by the ocean. After, the WWF one-hour workshop will begin from 11:00am to 12:00pm. The session will be interactive, with themed activity kits and collectables that kids can take home as a reminder of their ocean adventure. It's the perfect combination of learning and play!
