Veteran actor Guy Ecker is set to make his small screen return in new Telemundo drama after 8 years. The actor is mostly known by Kenyan fans for his role as Daniel Villanueva in Eva Luna. His last telenovela appearance was on Televisa's Por Siempre Mi Amor in 2013. Guy Ecker's comeback project will be on Telemundo's new romantic comedy, titled Parientes a la Fuerza (Relatives by Force) alongside Barbara de Regil.
The show follows the story of George Cruz (Guy Ecker), a famous 50-year-old scriptwriter in Hollywood, Los Angeles. George suffers from a midlife crisis in following a fall in his success, the death of his mother and betrayal of his wife. He is frustrated with life and lonely. Following a dying wish of from his mother, George goes to Mexico, which is where he will meet a beautiful singer by the name Carmen Jurado (Barbara de Regil). Carmen is the woman who will help George regain his inspiration and joy in life.
The main cast will be completed by Carmen Aub, Michel Duval, Lisa Owen, Antonio de la Vega, Salvador Zerboni, Alejandra Ávila and Mauricio Garza.
