Telenovela star, Fernando Colunga is set to make his return to Televisa to star in "Amanecer" alongside Livia Brito. This is after his stint with Telemundo where he starred in El Conde: Amor y honor. The show is a remake of Argentine drama, Almapado and will be produced by Juan Osorio.
The story follows the story of a young woman who is on a revenge mission. She plans to seduce the man who did her wrong, get him to fall madly in love with her,  then leave him and watch him die of love. However, she ends up falling in love with him.
"Fernando is a soap opera icon. I have known Don Fernando for many years. He is a super professional and a disciplined man while Livia is an actress who is greatly appreciated by the audience. We have never seen Livia and Fernando work, they are two icons, so we are going to put them together…" said Osorio about the cast.
The producer also shared that the story will be set in a strawberry field.  "We haven't touched on strawberries in any of the novels, so in this novel, this character has strawberry fields, and we already have the location of the town…" he said.
