Alejandro has decided to leave the Alva Group after his fight to with Eduardo.  Lucia, as always, tried to help her children reconcile but things did not go as she had hoped.
There was a pending board meeting with Miguel, the new partner at the Alva Group and Lucia wanted to give the impression that the family was united as always. But this was a problem because Alejandro was still furious with Eduardo after he found him with Sofia in their bedroom. Karen was also mad at Eduardo for cheating on her with Sofia. Meanwhile, Vanessa was still mourning the death of her husband and had become the talk of tabloid gossip because of her relationship with Max. No one was in the mood for a meeting but Lucia insisted on having it.
Miguel was treated to a front row seat of the family drama when Alejandro fought with Eduardo at the meeting. Eduardo wanted to share his new proposal with the board but Alejandro could hear none of it. Lucia took the blame for the incident and said she would leave the company because she could no longer force her children to do as she wanted. Alejandro also said he would not be able to work with Eduardo so he would leave the company's management to him.
With Alejandro gone, Eduardo has taken over and is reallocating budgets in order to fund his dream project. This is causing a big problem for the company and could see the Alva Group come to ruin. On the other hand, Miguel is considering pulling out of his partnership with the group because of the problems within the Noriega family. Will Alejandro carry on with his decision to leave or will he stay to sort out the problems?
