Eduardo's plan to make Alejandro and Sofia break up has finally worked! He was able to make Alejandro not only break up with Sofia, but also kick her out of their house. He planned everything meticulously so that there was no room for Alejandro to have any doubt. Eduardo got Alejandro to leave for Mexico City by mixing up an appointment he was supposed to have a week later. When he was gone, Eduardo ordered Rebecca to drug Sofia. Sofia thought she was just tired so she decided to go to bed. When she passed out, Eduardo joined her in bed. When Alejandro returned home, he found them together in their bedroom. He was furious and mercilessly beat up Eduardo. He would not let Sofia explain what happened and kicked her out in the middle of the night. Sofia was confused and did not know where to go. Luckily, she ran into Miguel, Alejandro's business partner, and he took her in. Meanwhile, Eduardo had to go to the hospital to get his wounds treated. He could not give a good explanation about what happened, angering his family and girlfriend, Karen. He did not quite care because he was able to make Alejandro leave Sofia. He was however disappointed to find out that Sofia had found solace in Miguel, who now seems to be a new rival.
