Kevin Waire better known as Wyre the LoveChild or simply Wyre is an iconic, multi-award winning Kenyan R&B and reggae artist. He began his music career in 1996 and gained recognition for his contributions to groups like Necessary Noize and the East African Bashment Crew.  Wyre's career has spanned decades and he has released four solo albums in the course of his career. His 2006 album Definition of a Lovechild won best ragga album at the Kisima Awards and he has also worked with international acts like Jamaican artist Alaine. On Wednesday, May 26th, at the National Museum of Kenya amphitheater in Nairobi, starting from 6 pm, Wyre will perform at  "BARE Sessions with Wyre." This exclusive concert curated by June Gachui and the stellar team of artists at JGIP Entertainment will be the third of its kind in the Bare Sessions series. JGIP Entertainment is known for their iconic tribute series honoring African music legends to their fun 90s themed concert The Heng, Motown in NairobiBare sessions with Chemutai Sage Bare Sessions with Sanaipei Tande and now, Bare sessions with Wyre. Arranged by Victor Tots Kimetto, Joe Were and Mark Van Jack, this performance will be characterized by an intimate and acoustic setting, offering a unique twist for the audience to connect with the artist on a deeper level beyond his music.
