Waiting for Train

Two people are waiting for a train; they have the same goal and the same desire, but they are very different from each other. Trains keep coming, but the waiting travelers fail to catch them, continually missing them, sometimes due to their own fault and sometimes through no fault of their own. Eventually, when the authorities see that the station has no travelers, they close it, and the two travelers remain trapped there forever, or until another moment.
