Her return brings on a new complication to Ryan's life who is now married to Laura. Estela told Ryan that she was a victim of El Dorado and she had been kept against her will hence the reason why she had disappeared from his life so suddenly. She also told Ryan a story about her father; Pedro Carillo asking her to date Ryan as a ploy to take revenge on his parents but she had ended up falling in love with him.
Estela told Ryan all this even after finding out that he was already married to Laura and the two already had a child together. She has also managed to charm Laura into feeling sorry for her because she plays the victim card a little too well.
Estela then wore Laura's clothes and went to Furia to see Ryan. She 'innocently' approached him and kissed him and Mercy found them in that compromising situation. Mercy was furious at both of them and warned Ryan not to fall into Estela's clutches once more. Estela told Ryan that she did not want to cause him any trouble so she asked to move out of his house and Ryan offered her his apartment.
Laura defended Estela from Mercy but she advised her not to trust a sheep in wolf's clothing. Another person not buying into Estela's innocent act is Chayo and I. Estela arrived and pulled out the victim card, taking it a little too far. She blames everything on her kidnapping scenario and apologizes for everything; even the most insignificant. This seems a little weird and one cannot help but feel like there is more to it and she is actually up to something. What do you think of her? Do you believe her story?
