Kenyan journalist, essayist, curator and filmmaker, Wanjeri Gakuru launches Transaction, a short film about a plus-size virgin who decided to mark her 25th birthday by losing her virginity. The film’s debut will be marked by specially-curated panels accompanying each screening. Transaction was produced with the assistance of the DOCUBOX East African Documentary Film Fund and funded by Kosinima Inc.
