This year's Shooting Star Safari is at Shaba National Reserve. Join us for a breathtaking experience with beautifully dark equatorial skies as the backdrop for the best meteor shower of the year!
The Perseid meteor shower happens each August as the Earth ploughs through a debris stream left by comet 109p Swift-Tuttle, producing the finest display of ‘shooting stars’. We will also view the Moon, Saturn, Jupiter & Mars and a vast range of deep sky objects from star forming gas clouds, supernova remnants, galaxies, and the best views of the Milky Way galaxy.
As if this wasn’t exciting enough, the Travelling Telescope will be celebrating its 10th anniversary!! Yes, we’ve officially been sharing the wonders of our Universe for a decade, and this trip marks a significant milestone for us.
