Girls Skate Nairobi, Kenya's pioneering skateboarding club exclusively for girls and young adult women, is extending its impact by offering lessons to younger girls aged 5-17.
Recognized globally for their skill and determination, the club is now focused on nurturing the next generation of skaters.
Throughout August, they will hold one-hour lessons every Tuesday and Friday at Shangilia Skatepark, located off Waiyaki Way.
The lessons, priced at Ksh 1000 per session, are conducted under professional supervision, with all necessary gear provided and first aid services available on-site.
Weekend lessons will also be available in the upcoming months. This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for young girls to develop confidence, resilience, and skating skills in a safe and supportive environment.
