We are delighted to invite you to join us at the Higher Education Institution (HEI) Innovation Summit, scheduled to take place on the 5th and 6th of June 2024 at the iHUB OFFICES, JAHAZI BUILDING, 154 JAMES GICHURU ROAD in Nairobi, Kenya.Over the past 7 months, iHUB’s HEI Innovation Practice, in partnership with the German Development Cooperation (BMZ) through Make-IT in Africa, has been working closely with six higher education institutions in Nigeria, Namibia, and Kenya. Together, we have nurtured an environment of innovation within these institutions, supporting 18 teams of student and academic innovators in developing industry-relevant innovations and prototypes. Our focus has been on transforming these prototypes into minimum-viable products and facilitating their commercialization.The HEI Innovation Summit will provide a platform to engage key stakeholders from across Africa in discussions regarding the role of African Higher Education Institutions in the evolving African Innovation Ecosystem.
