Telenovela Actor William Levy has recently come under high criticism for refusing to accept Telenovela projects.
Televisa Producer Juan Osorio accused William Levy of being ungrateful for refusing Telenovela roles. He said this because Telenovelas gave the Cuban actor a platform for which he is now known worldwide but he has now turned his back on the Industry. Willam Levy's last Telenovela appearance was on Televisa's La Tempestad in 2013. Since then, he has been pursuing a career in Hollywood and is now part of Fox's series Star.
William Levy responded to the Producer in a letter via Instagram and expressed his indignation at seeing how Juan Osorio judged him. He continued on to explain some of his reasons for turning down Telenovela projects and his children were top on the list. William Levy has two kids with actress Elizabeth Gutierrez and the tedious working schedules for Telenovelas were not ideal for him to spend time for his family.
He however added that he is mindful of his Telenovela fans and is looking out for an ideal project that will that will take him back to the Mexico and the world of Telenovelas. There is still hope to see Willian Levy in a Telenovela soon so keep an eye out for it.
