Art can be a powerful tool for kids for self-expression, creativity and personal growth. Wajukuu Arts provides spaces and resources for kids in the underprivileged community of LungaLunga Mukuru to do just that.
Wajukuu Arts is a community based Arts center offering a wide range of art programs, from painting and drawing to sculpture and digital media, providing kids with a variety of opportunities to express themselves and develop new skills.
Wajukuu also offers an escape from the harsh material conditions kids in LungaLunga have to endure and has provided them with a platform to showcase their creations to potential art buyers.
Often, they operate on a limited budget and may not have the resources to provide the materials and equipment necessary for their programs. By donating money or art supplies, you can help ensure that these children have access to the tools they need to explore their creativity and develop their artistic talents.
Another way to support Wajukuu Arts is by volunteering your time and skills. If you have experience in a particular area of art, such as painting, drawing, or photography, you may be able to provide valuable guidance and instruction to children who are just starting to explore their artistic abilities. Additionally, you can help with administrative tasks, fundraising efforts, or other activities that are essential to keeping the center running smoothly.
