The Wire Star Michael K. Williams Passes On
According to authorities and various media outlets, Williams, 54, was found dead in a suspected case of drug overdose at his apartment on Monday. The Wire's official broadcast network, HBO, said in a statement that they were "devastated" to learn of the passing of Williams, who was part of the family for over two decades. "While the world is aware of his immense talents as an artist, we knew Michael as a dear friend who was beloved by all who had the privilege to work with him. We send our deepest condolences to his family for this immeasurable loss". Williams' other notable projects include starring in Netflix's When They See Us and HBO's Lovecraft Country. Red Notice Trailer Released
Netflix has revealed the first official trailer for upcoming film Red Notice. When an Interpol-issued Red Notice — the highest-level warrant to hunt and capture the world's most wanted— goes out, the FBI's top profiler John Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) is on the case. His global pursuit finds him smack dab in the middle of a daring heist where he is forced to partner with the world's greatest art thief Nolan Booth (Ryan Reynolds) in order to catch the world's most wanted art thief, "The Bishop" (Gal Gadot). The high-flying adventure that ensues takes the trio around the world, across the dance floor, trapped in a secluded prison, into the jungle and, worst of all for them, constantly into each other's company.
