Popular Nairobi Club Involved in Murder Claim Scandal

The management of popular Nairobi joint, DeJa Vu, is on the spot for allegedly causing the death of a reveller last week. According to a report by k24 TV, one Charles Chege is said to have been beaten to death on March 5 over claims he stole a phone at the night club.

In a video clip doing rounds on social media, Charles is seen being tortured half naked in a secluded room. His body is said to have been found a few meters from the joint the following day. According to his sister, Anne Fataki, “His ribs and legs were broken. His head appeared as though it had been hit with a blunt object. He also had blood clots all over the body”.

DeJa Vu has since responded to the news report claiming the man left the premises alive. “What transpired after he left is under investigation by the DCI and we are cooperating with them fully in this regard,” concluded the statement.

Here’s what netizens have been saying regarding the developing story.
