Diego Olivera then switched things up on Mentir Para Vivir by staring as the main antagonist alongside David Zepeda and Mayrin Villanueva. He shed his good priest image and went on to play the role of a criminal Jose Luis Falcon. This was he pulled off pretty well.

Mujeres De Negro, Diego wore the hero's cap as he took on the role of police officer Patricio Bernal. He was a good cop who went above his corrupt boss' orders and found the real murders of three men who died in mysterious circumstances.
