Venezuelan actress, Scarlet Ortiz is set to make her return to telenovelas with a new drama. The actress who is famous for shows such as Todo Sobre Camila,  Secreto De Amor and My Three Sisters has been away from the screen for a few years. She is based in Miami, where she raises her daughter with partner, Yul Burkle. For her comeback, she returns to her home country to film the miniseries, "Dramaticas"See more: Scarlet Ortiz and Yul Burkle Celebrate 19 Years TogetherJust last year, she stated that she was looking for an interesting role that would make her return to work. "Until now, I don't have a dream character to return to. I hope the character that I have to play will be super cool and that the public identifies with. I am open to all possibilities…" With immense excitement for the new project, Scarlet Ortiz recently arrived in Caracas to join the rest of cast.Dramaticas will be a production by Venevision and Hispano Medios. Scarlet Ortiz will co-star alongside Luis Geronimo as protagonists with Roxana Diaz as the antagonist. The actors hope to revive the TV industry in Venezuela, which was among the biggest in the world a few decades ago. The show is set to premier this July with 12 episodes.
