Venezuelan actress, Scarlet Gruber will finally get to star in her first telenovela! She was able to make a name for herself in the past 15 years by working in supporting roles in shows such as Sinos Dejan, Sin Tu Mirada, Quererlo Todo, among others. The actress will now headline El Precio de Amarte (The Price of Loving You) alongside Marcus Ornellas for Televisa Univision.

"I'm really excited because it's the first leading role I've done on my own and it's something I've wanted for a long time. But I'm also excited because it's a story that was made in Portugal but hasn't been made here in Mexico, so I feel like it's something more innovative in some way…" she added.

The Price of Loving You revolves around a decorated military man who returns to his homeland to seek justice from the people who previously wronged him. He however ends up falling in love with the daughter of the family whose vendetta he seeks.

Scarlet Gruber expressed that she was confident about her chemistr with Ornellas since this is the second project which they will be working on together.

"We've worked together before. This story is special because our characters have a connection since childhood, so that makes the connection when they're older much deeper, much more beautiful and much more conveying. I feel like there's going to be a special chemistry and our fans are going to love this love story…"

The show will also include participation from Alejandra Barros, Jorge Poza and Gabriel Porras.
