What’s New On Netflix This Weekend: October 14–16

New On Netflix Haters Back Off Sky Ladder

A weekly round up of new additions to the streaming service.

Netflix continues to appeal to kids and parents with their recent announcement of six new original animated shows that provide best-in-class storytelling for kids of all ages. LEGO Elves, The Hollow, Kibaoh Klashers, Robozuna, Treehouse Detectives, and Super Monsters will take viewers on wild rides and enchanting adventures. The shows that will premiere worldwide between 2017 and 2018 are sure to captivate young audiences everywhere.

Cameras begin rolling this week for Mute, a sci-fi noir film starring Alexander Skarsgård (The Legend of Tarzan), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Justin Theroux (The Girl on the Train). The movie will premiere in 2017 joining a Netflix original power list that includes titles such as Bright starring Will Smith, War Machine starring Brad Pitt, and First They Killed My Father from director Angelina Jolie.

Finally, brace yourself for the anticipated premiere of the Netflix original series The Crown this November 4, 2016. The royal drama, which stars a largely British cast, tells the inside story of two of the most famous addresses in the world– Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street– and the intrigues, love lives and machinations behind the great events that shaped the second half of the 20th century.
