New On Netflix Dawn of the Croods Blue Is the Warmest Colour

A weekly round up of new additions to the streaming service.

Netflix has announced premiere dates for an upcoming slate of new stand-up comedy specials. They include specials by among others Cedric the Entertainer (Friday, September 16), Russell Peters (Friday, October 7), Michael Che (Friday, November 25), Joe Rogan (Friday, October 21), Dana Carvey (Friday, November 4) and Gabriel Iglesias (Tuesday, December 20).

In more news this week, Netflix announced a new comedy series, Friends From College starring Keegan-Michael Key and How I Met Your Mother alumni Cobie Smulders. Nick Stoller (Neighbors, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) is the man behind the eight episode series.

Famed Breaking Bad writer Moira Walley-Beckett who won a Primetime Emmy for what is considered that show’s best episode Ozymandias, has been announced as Showrunner for new Netflix series ANNE. The upcoming show is based on Lucy Maud Montgomery’s timeless classic novel Anne of Green Gables.

4. Glitter Force (Season 2)

Available August 26th

Adèle's life is changed when she meets Emma, a young woman with blue hair, who will allow her to discover desire and to assert herself as a woman and as an adult.
