90s kids can attest to how (violently) popular the Mortal Kombat Video game was in its salad days and now we all get to experience the action on the big screen. The martial arts fantasy film based on the video game franchise of the same name and a reboot of the Mortal Kombat film series is all about epic ass-whooping.In one corner there's the Chinese ass-kicking sensation Liu Kang, Badass Sonya Blade and hand to hand combat star Johnny Cage. They're all pro MMA fighters and are up against a bunch of super-powered stooges, one of whom has four arms. Whew! It's not going to be an easy fight for our video game superheroes who have to battle with these enemies from Outworld in a high-stakes battle for the universe.The trailer offers the gore and fast-paced action you've probably seen in the video games.
