Mexican veteran actress, Susana Dosamantes has passed away. Born in 1946, the actress began her acting career in 1968 and had worked in around fifty movies and telenovelas. Among her noted works include Rebeca, Eva Luna, The Three Sides of Ana and Si Nos Dejan.
Susana Dosamantes died on July 2 from cancer at age 74. She was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer after being hospitalized at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami in April. She began taking chemotherapy but unfortunately succumbed to the disease. The news of her death was shared by her daughter, Latin pop-star, Paulina Rubio.
