Nikolai has finally confessed his feelings for Adelle! After the death of his brother, Stefano, he stayed home to take care of his pregnant wife, Adelle, like Stefano had asked. He got involved with Kelly, Stefano's ex who is also staying at the Gonzales mansion with Stefano's son. The two had a casual relationship for a while but Nikolai ended it when he started to have feelings for Adelle.

Nikolai came back home drunk one time and Adelle helped him get to his room. Nikolai ended up kissing her but forgot about the incident. Later, he stole a kiss again while consoling Adelle since she was sad after fighting with her mother. Adelle got mad and confronted him. Nikolai then confessed that he had fallen for her after his brother's death but Adelle said she did not feel the same. She also found out about his fling with Kelly and did not want to be involved with Nikolai in the same manner.

Adelle has now started to avoid Nikolai. She used to pack his lunch and take care of him so she thought that he had misinterpreted her intentions for affection. She also does not want her mother in law to find out and since Nikolai will not leave her alone, she has decided to move out of the mansion with her son. Nikolai has tried to call her but she does not answer his calls.
