Natalia was finally able to reunite with her parents, whom she was separated from since she was born. Mr. Caceres was behind this because he did not want his adopted daughter, Irene, to have a child. He did not want the Caceres fortune to be taken away from his legitimate family. Luckily, Natalia was rescued as a child and grew up under Carmen's care.
Irene became an alcoholic since the disappearance of her daughter. She was filled with hope after she found out that her daughter was still alive and put in the effort to search for her along with her husband, Tedeo. Mr Carceres sabotaged their investigation so that they would not find out that Natalia was their daughter but Alonso figured it out and warned Irene. Because of this, Irene was able to find out that Natalia was her daughter.
The task to inform Natalia was difficult but Carmen helped both Irene and Tedeo. Natalia did not take it well at first, thinking that her parents had abandoned her but Father Juan explained the situation to her. She was glad to be reunited with her parents but the issue of Tedeo's illness came up. He is suffering from Leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant to recover. Being his daughter, Natalia is happy to give Tedeo the transplant because she does not want to lose him after they found each other.
