Last week, Villa Rosa Kempinski hosted us at the first, of a weekly, Rémy Martin Social Night at the hotel's Balcony Lounge.
The evening, courtesy of the luxury French cognac brand, will be serving exquisite cuisine and sophisticated drinks every Thursdays and Fridays, at exclusive offers on Rémy Martin, Cognac Fine Champagne drinks and cocktails. Every first Thursday of the month, a DJ will be spinning some tunes.
The seven cocktails on the Social Night menu are specially curated by Brand Activator East & North Africa at Rémy Cointreau, Brandon Mudiangombe - a lanky, handsome French man who is just as suave as his cocktail creations.
I personally recommend the Rémy Old Fashioned, which is put through sci-fi levels of preparation. For the ladies, you won't go wrong with the Rémy Mint Julep or the Rémy Negroni, both of which were great hits. All cocktails are at Ksh 1,500.
