Alejandro just put himself in danger as he tries to prove Lorena's innocence. Since her case is getting a lot of attention, he decided to go on a national television show in order to make his position clear. He announced during the program that he was sure of Lorena's innocence and would not stop investigating until he proved it. He also accused Arturo Marquez of manipulating the evidence in order to hide Juan Pablo's real killer and swore that he would uncover the truth.

Arturo Marquez is Florencia's father and the owner of the construction company that Lorena worked for before she was accused of killing Juan Pablo. Florencia turned out to be Juan Pablo's lover so she also became a person of interest in the case. To protect his reputation, Arturo did not take Alejandro's accusations kindly and therefore turned to  threats in order to intimidate him. Arturo contacted his lawyer and went to visit Alejandro with a deal to make him retract his statements. Alejandro however refused to sign the deal.

When Lorena found out about Arturo's threats, she was worried that he would be in trouble for defending her but Alejandro assured her that he would not back down.   But with how powerful Arturo Marquez is, will he go after Alejandro?
