Cleaning up after a fun day of play probably tops your young child's "Things I Don't Like to Do" list. But unless you want to spend your time tripping over their toys or cleaning snack scraps, your child needs to learn how to clean up after themselves. This is an important part of a young person's development and helps them develop a sense of responsibility.
While it might be easier for you to do the cleaning up yourself, that's just a short-term solution. How a child learns to clean up now sets the stage for how they will complete the chore as they get older. If you are constantly picking up after your child as they get older they either won't know how or won't think it is something they need to concern themselves with, because mom and dad always do it.
Cleaning up, while not necessarily fun, doesn't have to be awful. Introducing the eLimu Cleanliness app. Take your kids on this exciting journey into the world of cleanliness with Tobi and Zidi. The app is designed to engage children 3-10 years to learn about caring for their bodies and environment in a fun and interactive manner.
