I loved the Little Mermaid growing up. And now, a new generation of viewers and nostalgic old-heads like me can experience Disney's live-action rendition of the beloved 1989 animated masterpiece.
"The Little Mermaid," stays true to the enchanting tale. This captivating story revolves around Princess Ariel (played by Halle Bailey), a youthful mermaid who finds herself captivated by the charming Prince Eric (portrayed by Jonah Hauer-King).
To pursue her heartfelt desires, Ariel strikes a fateful bargain with the cunning sea witch Ursula (brought to life by Melissa McCarthy), agreeing to relinquish her voice in exchange for a fleeting three-day human existence.
