Angelique Boyer is set to reprise the iconic role of the woman of steel, previously played by Mexican actress, Lucero in Soy Tu Duena. With unforgettable performances in telenovelas such as "Teresa," "Three Sides of Ana," and "What Life Took from Me," her role in Soy Tu Duena remake is highly anticipated.

The telenovela will be titled Doménica Montero and will follow the story of a woman who, after being betrayed, humiliated, and stripped of everything, rebuilds her life in her family's forgotten homeland. Here, she will face new enemies, a forbidden love, and a past that won't let her go. How will she deal with all this?

"A character like Doménica Montero is a dream come true because any actress wants to play a character with so much character and who will be iconic. She already was, and we're going to continue making her iconic with any version that comes…" said the actress in a recent interview.

Joining Angelique Boyer in the drama will be Marcus Ornellus as the protagonist alongside Scarlet Gruber and Brandon Peniche as the antagonists. The show will be directed by producer Carlos Bardasano and is scheduled to premiere next year.
