Telenovela stars, Angelique Boyer and Sebastian Rulli are set to work on their fifth project together. A couple in real life for 9 years now, the tandem has worked together on Teresa, Lo que la vida robó me,  Tres veces Ana, and Vencer el pasado.

For their fifth project, the couple will be the protagonists of "The strange return of Diana Salazar", which is an adaptation of the renowned telenovela starring Lucía Méndez from 1998. The drama will broadcast on ViX, the streaming service for Televisa Univision.
The story follows the forbidden love of Leonor (Boyer) and Eduardo (Rulli) in the 17th century. Their love has a tragic ending after Leonor is sentenced to death for witchcraft. However, a mysterious fate brings them together again several centuries later as Diana and Mario. This time, Leonor is a doctor and Eduardo is a renowned scientist. Will they succumb to an inexplicable attraction and open their arms to eternal love 400 years later?
The adaptation of The Strange Return of Diana Salazar will be produced by W Studios with Patricio Wills and Carlos Bardasano as executive producers and is set to for release in 2024.
