Kituo Cha Sheria SGBV

Kituo Cha Sheria, a human rights NGO that helps the disadvantaged, poor and marginalized access justice, is participating in the global 16 Days of Activism that began in Kenya on 30th November 2016. They are engaging the public to discuss and give feedback on a video posted on their Facebook page.

The effects of Sexual Gender Based Violence do not just affect the victims. The people around the survivors also go through emotional pain in the process. You too can help enhance awareness on SGBV by using the hashtag #IamAware and uploading a Facebook update, tweet, a blog post, or even a short video where you say a fact about SGBV and tag Kituo Cha Sheria.

The organization will select a number of articles, Facebook updates and tweets that will be featured on their Haki blog, Facebook page and Twitter account. Participants with the best social media posts will be invited for a high level dinner with some SGBV survivors on 14th December at a venue to be announced at a later date.
