This is another business the home has added to assist in self sustenance. The café has an ambient feel of a classic 1960’s diner complete with red checkered linens and red leather booth seating. Some of the items available on the menu include pastries, coffees and fast food.


Speaking at the opening, Anna Heron Gloag repeated her never ending resolve to assisting the children. She said the café was inspired by her time abroad and how people can have a decent cup of coffee in a simple but classy establishment. The café is impressively laid out in a converted container.

In addition, to having a good meal, patrons will be assisting the home thereby actively adding a positive contribution to a good cause. Assisting Anna to cut the ribbon was Sharon Margaret, who has been at the home for only three months. Even though she is an orphan, her smile was a loud echo of the positive influence the love and care she is receiving at the home is.
