Acorn is a programme that caters for persons with special needs in the area of mental impairment. They provide an individualized programme incorporating therapies (speech, occupational, physio, sensory integration and auditory integration training) and activities for independent living, academics, computer skills and a wide range of extra-curricular activities. They also have an early intervention program that caters for infants where, once identified with special needs, are given the appropriate intervention. There is a sheltered workshop for adults who have gone through the one year vocational training.
